Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate financial records for various business units to support management reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Deliver precise and timely reports on the financial activities of different departments.
Prepare documentation for annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Financial Management:
Hands-on experience in month-end and year-end accounting processes and closing activities.
Establish and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Record journal entries and ensure the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Participate in the formulation and execution of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Provide tax planning strategies in compliance with current legislation and submit quarterly VAT returns.
Ensure payroll accuracy and maintain relevant records.
Guarantee timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
Conduct bank reconciliations regularly.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager to enhance processes and turnaround times.
Assist in managing the studio's profit and loss effectively, offering valuable financial insights and analyses.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with various departments to offer financial support and guidance.
Effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional Credentials:
Part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (preferred).
4+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft D365.
Strong command of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Experience in project and management accounting.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
