In this position, you will work closely with various business leaders, offering insightful analyses and interpretations that improve overall business comprehension. The ideal candidate is a motivated, tech-oriented professional who excels in teamwork and enjoys engaging with diverse departments and levels throughout the organization. Clear communication of financial results, along with the ability to provide succinct explanations and address inquiries related to financial data, is crucial for success in this role. Strong leadership and communication skills are imperative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly closing and forecasting processes by integrating data from multiple departments.
- Collaborate with FP&A colleagues to spearhead the annual budgeting process, creating budgets from scratch for various business segments.
- Collect, analyze, and manage financial data to generate reports for monthly profit and loss assessments and financial projections.
- Enhance and maintain FP&A software systems for budgeting and forecasting objectives.
- Provide valuable insights during monthly and quarterly business evaluations.
- Track forecast accuracy, identify variance drivers, and offer commentary on current and future financial trends.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses for senior management as required.
- Utilize your expertise in financial forecasting, analysis, and basic accounting principles to support business operations.
- Develop strong interdepartmental relationships to promote collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or business.
- 4+ years of experience in finance or FP&A-related roles.
- Proficiency in Oracle EPM, OneStream, TM1, Hyperion, or similar forecasting and planning tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
