Financial Performance Analyst

Remote – CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

$35 - $48/hour

Option 1 Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Financial Performance Analyst to join a prestigious healthcare institution. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of financial and revenue cycle operations to uncover trends, patterns, and underlying issues.

Note: This position is remote; however, candidates must be located in California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track essential performance metrics for designated areas and investigate causes of performance variations.
  • Conduct regular root cause assessments of pertinent financial transactions for assigned divisions.
  • Analyze historical and forecasted financial data to equip stakeholders with critical insights for operational decision-making.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of revenue cycle systems, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines to support analytical assessments.
  • Foster internal collaborations to gain insights into departmental workflows.
  • Engage consistently with revenue cycle leaders to discuss enhancement opportunities identified through data analysis.
  • Prepare, analyze, and coordinate the dissemination of various financial reports for internal revenue cycle purposes and as needed for external parties.
  • Maintain diverse financial databases and records for accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and manipulate extensive data sets.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Hospital Billing
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • HFMA – Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
