Senior Manufacturing Operations Leader

to manage operational activities in the

Final Assembly Area

( Electronic Warfare, Antenna, & Receiver/Exciter, and the

Manufacturing and Test ) at our

Baltimore, MD

facility.
The

Senior Manufacturing Operations Leader

will have organizational oversight for up to 150+ personnel, including Manufacturing Management and Union-represented staff.

The primary objective is to fulfill or surpass customer expectations by delivering quality products punctually and within budgetary constraints, while fostering a lean manufacturing culture.

This role necessitates the incumbent to arrive no later than 6:00am.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing leadership and direction in areas such as: Technical Guidance, Process Development, Continuous Improvement, Capacity Planning, Capital & Facility Planning, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Manpower Planning, Staffing, PAS Execution, and adherence to ISO9001, AS9100, and all auditable processes.

Managing annual budgetary responsibilities ranging from $1M to $4M.

Offering guidance to employees in accordance with management guidelines and general policies.

Enhancing employee efficiency.

Achieving product cost and schedule objectives.

Overseeing the area to ensure the production of quality products.

Motivating employees to reach their maximum potential.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience, Master's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, or 13+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience in managing or leading teams and/or projects within an engineering or manufacturing context.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Manufacturing, Program, Engineering, Functional Support Management, and Professionals.

Experience in resource planning and budgeting.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a union-represented environment.

6+ years of demonstrated successful people management experience, including managing teams of 20 or more individuals.

Experience with robotics, RF, ISO9001/AS9100.

LEAN manufacturing and process improvement experience.

Active Secret level security clearance.

Hands-on experience in developing and managing budgets with accountability for cost performance.

Experience with the following metrics:
Performance Index, Test Yields, and Rework Hours.

Technical STEM degree.

Salary Range:
$142,600 - $213,800

The above salary range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Additionally, Northrop Grumman offers a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
