United Medical Imaging Healthcare

A distinguished healthcare organization in Southern California is in search of a proficient RIS/PACS Administrator to enhance our expanding IT Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for our RIS/PACS systems.


Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the Client Implementation process concerning RIS/PACS Integration.
• Formulate a strategic project plan for client implementation and associated integration activities.
• Contribute to the creation of operational procedures for RIS/PACS and Dictation systems.
• Exhibit sound clinical and management judgment while providing necessary insights to the IT Manager.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of various client RIS, PACS, and Dictation systems.
• Coordinate essential activities related to RIS/PACS and Client Implementation with the IT department.
• Identify, analyze, track, and report system-related issues, supporting client report reconciliation efforts.
• Provide onsite support for client needs before and after system go-live as required.


Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant healthcare or information systems field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general IT and Networking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid CA Driver License is essential for assisting various locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a PACS Interface Analyst (CPIA) and PACS System Manager (CPMS).
• Familiarity with specific radiology applications, such as Carestream software systems.
