Position Summary:

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will be integral to our innovative clinic that merges primary care, gynecology, and longevity services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Phlebotomy: Proven experience in blood draw procedures is essential, as you will perform multiple draws daily.
  • Diagnostics: Comfort and familiarity with diagnostic tools are required; training will be provided for various equipment used in our clinic.
  • Patient Interaction: You will warmly welcome patients and ensure they receive an exceptional care experience. Attention to detail and diligent follow-up through various communication methods are vital for patient satisfaction.
  • Clinical Support: Assist in medical procedures and examinations, including taking vital signs, conducting diagnostic tests, preparing medications as directed, documenting patient information, and occasionally serving as a medical scribe.
  • Administrative Duties: Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, managing medical records, processing payments, and handling insurance billing and verification. You may also assist with internal scheduling and coordination for our healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification or license (e.g., CMA, RMA) is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in performing phlebotomy procedures; CPT I or CPT II certification is advantageous.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with patients, families, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Professionalism: Ability to manage sensitive situations with composure and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in women's health or concierge care environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and office software; advanced computer skills, particularly with Apple products.
  • Immunizations: Proof of immunity for MMR, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, and COVID-19 is required.
