Job Summary

Mastech Digital is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware and Software Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot personal computer systems, printers, copiers, fax machines, and other IT equipment.
  • Software Support: Install, configure, and maintain software applications, as well as provide training to users on software usage.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and trouble tickets entered into the help desk software.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of company assets, including hardware and software.
  • Training and Orientation: Assist and/or orient new hires with the initial usage of information systems hardware and software.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
