Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for our simulation hardware and software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of virtual collective simulation exercise control and experience in Help Desk management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for simulation hardware and software
  • Assist with simulation hardware/software testing and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve simulation capabilities

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in operational or simulated military hardware maintenance and sustainment
  • Experience in simulation hardware/software testing and troubleshooting
  • Operational understanding of virtual collective simulation exercise control
  • Experience in Help Desk management and coordination
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with OneSAF and VBS
  • Program execution tools, such as Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
  • Red Hat Linux
  • Windows
  • VMWare
  • Applied knowledge of DoD Information Assurance patch application and scanning tools

Security Clearance:

Eligibility for this position requires U.S. Citizenship status and a Secret security clearance. The precise security clearance requirements will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
