Position Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the neurology ambulatory environment plays a vital role as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily operates within the clinic to address the neurological requirements of the designated patient population.
  • May engage closely with outpatient cardiology testing teams, including EMG and MRI.
  • Typically part of a service-aligned team, managing outpatient care alongside team members.
  • In certain cases, may also be responsible for the same patient demographic in a consultative inpatient capacity or serve as a resource for the inpatient care team.

The APP is expected to possess a robust foundation in evidence-based practice and education, ensuring a safe and high-quality care environment.
