Role Overview:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a crucial role within the neurology ambulatory care environment, collaborating with a diverse healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

The APP primarily operates in a clinical setting, addressing the neurological health needs of the designated patient population. This role may also involve collaboration with outpatient diagnostic teams, such as those conducting EMG and MRI tests. The APP is typically part of a service-oriented team, managing outpatient care in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.

In certain cases, the APP may also provide consultative support for the same patient demographic in inpatient settings or serve as a resource for inpatient care teams. The APP is expected to have a robust foundation in evidence-based practices and education, ensuring a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical proficiency, sound judgment, and professionalism, along with effective communication skills and meticulous documentation practices.
