About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Information Management Lead Associate to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of work in Release of Information, Document Imaging, Word Processing, and/or the file area of HIS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight, corrective action, and mentoring for all front-line staff.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective management of health information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve health information management.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting with medical record experience required.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Health Information Management credentials, including a Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) degree.
