This position is integral to the Blue Origin Engines division, dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion systems and engines. Our advanced engine family is designed for multiple applications, powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight endeavors.

As a member of a dedicated team of engineers, you will play a crucial role in the development and qualification of new rocket engines and thrusters for various spaceflight applications. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality engineering support by developing and anchoring system and component loads. You will excel in cross-disciplinary collaborations to ensure accurate loads model assumptions, leading to the correct generation of desired outputs. Proficiency in finite element models will be essential for generating component and system loads, along with expertise in finite element model reduction techniques and the creation of forcing functions from both test and historical data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting loads across propulsion systems due to low frequency and static system loads.
  • Validating loads and forcing functions through test data, and generating forcing functions from developmental tests.
  • Collaborating closely with various systems to analyze test data and provide insights into test plans to ensure proper data acquisition.
  • Contributing to the development of loads and dynamic processes and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in predicting and validating low frequency (
