As a member of our collaborative and dynamic team of analysts, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of rocket engines and propulsion systems tailored to meet the requirements of various spaceflight initiatives. Your responsibilities will include constructing and executing both steady-state and transient analytical models of engines and other test components to forecast their performance. These models will be instrumental in establishing engine specifications, developing testing protocols, and assisting with vehicle trajectory planning.
Furthermore, you will correlate system models with experimental data, providing the engine testing team with necessary test sequences and guidance to ensure safe engine operations. Your work will also involve collaborating with vehicle simulations to verify the accuracy of engine modeling for flight mission simulations.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of rocket engines, gas turbine engines, and internal combustion engines.
- Strong grasp of engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and power systems.
- Proficiency in programming and familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Experience in data analysis.
- A genuine curiosity to comprehend engines at both component and system levels.
- A desire to thrive in a coordinated, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams.
- Self-motivated with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Master's degree or higher.
- Experience in system modeling.
- Familiarity with cryogenic propellants.
- Experience in rocket engine development.
- Knowledge of ROCETS, NPSS, GFSSP, or similar system modeling software.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and Fortran.
- Experience with system or performance analysis throughout the lifecycle of products.
- Experience with engine qualification and verification processes.
- Understanding of numerical solvers and methods.
- Solid knowledge of various propellants.
- Familiarity with engine components such as pumps, turbines, injectors, combustors, and valves.
