About the Role

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Support Associate to join our team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Support Associate will work under the direction of department leadership to provide clinical and administrative support to prepare patients for encounters, assist clinicians in delivering care, and maintain service areas, equipment, and supplies. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical and administrative duties to support patient care, including preparing patients for examinations and assisting healthcare providers during procedures.
  • Conduct thorough intake processes, collecting and recording patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient data, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Highest school graduate or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical assistance or a related field; preferably in a physician practice or hospital outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs).
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association required.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $17.50 - $25.91 per hour, as well as attractive differentials rates for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary range of $17.50 - $25.91 per hour, along with additional benefits such as:

  • $4.25 differential rate for evening shifts.
  • $8.00 differential rate for night shifts.
  • $4.75 differential rate for weekend shifts.
