The Administrative Support Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front and back office staff within Rutland Regional Medical Center clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in managing day-to-day operations, including employee, patient, and provider schedules, coverage issues, and workflow.
  • Coordinates and supports administrative functions, systems, and processes within clinics.
  • Works closely with leadership to implement policies and procedures related to administrative functions.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Three years of administrative coordination experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic, business office, or similar setting required.
  • Physician practice or outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience with healthcare software applications preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated keyboarding ability of 45 wpm.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of basic computer skills.
  • Highly discreet, able to handle confidential materials.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $21.14 - $31.37 per hour
