About the Role

As a Medical Assistant at Rutland Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team. This dynamic role involves both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring seamless encounters for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for encounters by administering tasks under provider supervision.
  • Assist clinicians in delivering care, maintaining equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant program graduate preferred.
  • 1-2 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in a physician practice or hospital outpatient setting.
Licenses and Certifications
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or Vermont State LNA License (preferred).
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication skills for reporting observations and conveying information.
  • Moderate knowledge of computer skills and medical terminology.
  • Awareness of infection control practices.
Compensation

Competitive salary range: $17.50 - $25.91 per hour with differential rates available for evenings ($4.25), nights ($8.00), and weekends ($4.75).
