Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Unit Leader to manage the operations of our nursing units. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensure quality of patient care, and collaborate with other leaders to maintain efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the nursing team through strategic management, relationship management, and influencing positive behaviors.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs to promote continuous quality improvement in patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to maintain efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage departmental budget, expenses, variances, and other financial aspects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; MSN or related graduate level degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in nursing in a hospital setting.
  • 2 years of Charge or Leadership experience.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont (RN).
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Unit-specific certifications as required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to education, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and skills related to clinical nursing practice.
  • Clinical program development expertise.
  • Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills.
