We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Consumer Product Partners. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our national accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Present new products and services to national accounts, and develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Forecast sales production needs, quantities, and trends, and compare sales performance to budget actuals.
- Provide exceptional customer support through on-site visits, follow-up on customer requests, and resolve customer problems.
- Coordinate efforts of brokers, prepare pricing, samples, correspondence, and resolve shipping problems.
- Review Finished Goods on Hand report and Excess or Slow Moving inventory, and interface with customer and production.
- Customize marketing information, prepare sales documentation, and identify customer problems.
- Supervise the daily activities of team staff, provide coaching and instruction as necessary, and network within national accounts to secure business opportunities.
- Ensure internal company functions provide the highest level of customer service to national accounts, monitor incoming orders, and ensure these are fulfilled effectively.
- Holding regular monthly meetings with internal stakeholders about key accounts, investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by national accounts, and taking a proactive approach to account management.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- 5+ years' experience as a salesperson in a buyer/sales relationship and extensive sales experience in the Consumer Products Industry.
- Preferred experience in Personal Care Products and Health & Beauty.
- Knowledge of the consumer products industry, national brand/private label industry, and/or the health and beauty care.
- Demonstrated team player, broad business background, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sales analysis and metrics, outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and exceptional presentation skills.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
