Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming experience for them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Verify guest registration, address, and credit information, balance bank, and post charges.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Assist guests with luggage, coffee, directions, wake-up calls, future reservations, and other requests.
  • Answer Hotel Phones: Answer hotel telephones courteously and efficiently, following Hyatt Place standards.
  • Prepare and Serve Food and Beverages: Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean, and provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Clear tables during service and maintain a clean, organized environment for guests.
  • Follow Operational Policies: Follow Hyatt Place operational policies and procedures, including those for cash and credit card handling, safety and security.
Requirements
  • Age and Availability: Must be at least 18 years old and available to work weekends.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language Skills: Strong command of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and other software.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field.
  • Driving Record: Clean driving record and valid driver's license preferred.
