Aloft OSU is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling front office operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Front Office Operations: Manage the front desk, handle guest transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Revenue Maximization: Assist in maximizing revenue goals through up-selling and down-selling, and coordinate daily arrivals and departures.
- Cash Handling: Follow hotel cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Problem-Solving: Respond to and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the sales team to capitalize on revenue opportunities.
- Adaptability: Be adaptable to change in work area and hotel procedures, and be willing to learn new skills and improve existing ones.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Customer service experience or hotel front desk experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English language.
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional guest service, and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Compensation: $15-$17 hourly wage.
