Position Summary

PURVIS Systems is in search of a Radar Systems Integration Engineer to assist in the execution of integration and analytical tasks. The selected engineer will play a crucial role in identifying challenges, formulating solutions, and ensuring that these solutions are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop operational concepts for radar systems.
  • Create requirements for radar processing algorithms and software.
  • Conduct statistical and numerical analyses of radar performance data.
  • Develop analytical tools to support problem identification and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to devise and implement solutions.
  • Present findings and solutions to leadership and/or clients.
  • Focus areas for radar systems include signal processing, waveform design, electronic protection strategies, phased array technology, digital beamforming, radar search and tracking, target modeling, and the integration and testing of large radar systems.
  • This role necessitates daily on-site support and does not offer hybrid or remote work options.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience with signal processing techniques in complex environments.
  • Design experience in radar system components such as Antenna, Receiver/Exciter, Waveforms, Digital Beamforming, Multi-Sensor Track Management, and Data Fusion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in requirements development, including the use of DOORS.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++.

This position may require obtaining or holding a government security clearance.
