We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to support our National Security Sector at Leidos.

Job Summary

This role involves conducting engineering investigations to resolve complex issues using industry best practices, including calculations as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide detailed reports of investigation findings, including methodologies used, tests accomplished, and recommendations made.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical and electronic components and equipment.
  • Develop and implement scripts and programs for different types of programmable controllers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Four (4) years of directly related experience may offset the degree requirements.
  • Able to obtain/maintain a DOD security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Proficient in generating reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of current surface and submarine towed sonar arrays/modules and their testing and repair procedures.
  • Experience with the layout and operation of capital equipment used for towed array module repair and testing.
  • Active DOD secret clearance.
