Job Title: Women's Leadership Institute Director

Concordia University Wisconsin-Ann Arbor is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Director of the Women's Leadership Institute. This part-time position will be responsible for maintaining the operations and communications of the Institute, as well as serving as a liaison between advisory board members, work team volunteers, and on-campus offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continue and expand the WLI Mentor Programming, including advising the Fall and Spring EmpowHer group through mentor/mentee connections and events with student ambassadors in collaboration with Campus Ministry.
  • Oversee the Growing Together online mentoring content and in-person workshops, assigning facilitators and facilitating future training with current trained facilitators. Create marketing content for workshops and promote the Growing Together program.
  • Coordinate the creation of a WLI newsletter with updates, articles, and future events.
  • Communicate with constituents using social media, the website, and email about upcoming events and opportunities. Respond to emails and inquiries.
  • Be present at events that promote the Institute and its mission, building relationships and connections for the Institute.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is preferred. LCMS membership is required.
  • Experience in a professional role that has involved communication, organization, and/or leadership is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends for special events and occasions.
