Position Summary

We are in search of a motivated and experienced Finance Director who will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team and enhancing our brand representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with employees and customers to foster relationships and address any gaps in the sales process.
  • Oversee the Finance & Insurance (F&I) team.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to finance staff to achieve top-tier per vehicle retail (PVR) metrics.
  • Facilitate finance turnover processes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to strengthen banking relationships and minimize errors in customer information tracking.
  • Establish rapport with customers to cultivate a network of referrals.
  • Market and sell finance and insurance products to clients.
  • Maintain a stellar reputation with lending institutions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of paperwork for title processing and funding acquisition.
  • Achieve monthly performance objectives.
  • Comply with all local and national regulations while working with sales management to maximize profitability.
  • Assist service advisors in providing warranty information to customers.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive finance is required.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor finance managers and sales consultants.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration between sales and finance departments.
  • Manage the dealership's customer loan origination and approval processes while nurturing strong lender relationships.
  • Exhibit strong work ethics, a positive attitude, and a commitment to personal integrity.
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance.
  • Career-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent leadership capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships effectively.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including internet applications, MS Outlook, and Dealertrack.
  • Capable of delivering effective menu presentations.
  • Assist sales professionals with desk deals and facilitate turnover processes to maximize deal potential.
  • Engage with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives.
  • Knowledgeable about tag and title regulations and DMV processes.
