Overnight Safety and Security Coordinator

Job Overview
The Overnight Safety and Security Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, and property. This position is dedicated to fostering a secure environment while providing guests with peace of mind through visible presence and proactive measures.
Key Qualifications:
+ A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant experience in hospitality or a related sector.
+ Completion of a Safety and Security Training program compliant with state regulations is required.
+ Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Heimlich maneuver is essential.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Engage with guests and staff in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
+ Adhere to attendance standards as dictated by operational needs.
+ Uphold exemplary standards of personal grooming and uniform adherence.
+ Follow all Aimbridge Hospitality protocols to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
+ Respond promptly to phone inquiries and utilize two-way radio communication effectively.
+ Maintain a visible presence in the lobby area to monitor activities and ensure guest safety.
+ Document daily activities and maintain confidentiality regarding incidents involving guests and staff.
+ Conduct briefings with Guest Services at the start and end of each shift.
+ Verify identification for visitors and grant access to secured areas as necessary.
+ Stay informed about local laws and regulations relevant to the role.
+ Assist guests with room access and provide necessary support during emergencies.
+ Investigate incidents such as thefts or disturbances and collaborate with management to complete incident reports.
+ Offer assistance to external agencies when required.
+ Provide escort services for guests as needed.
+ Address situations involving intoxicated guests appropriately.
+ Familiarize yourself with hotel security systems and protocols.
+ Monitor security alarms and surveillance systems as applicable.
+ Conduct regular safety checks throughout the property.
+ Administer First Aid and CPR during medical emergencies as required.
+ Complete incident reports in partnership with management in a clear and concise manner.
+ Manage deliveries and assist with guest requests efficiently.
+ Support Front Desk operations with various tasks as needed.
+ Handle Lost and Found items according to established procedures.
+ Participate in special events and perform additional duties as assigned.
