We are actively looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Trainer (Industrial Hygienist) to enhance our team in West Springfield, MA.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate comprehensive training for asbestos-related programs including Inspector, Management Planner, Abatement Worker and Supervisor, Project Monitor, NIOSH 582 PCM Course, 16 Hour O&M, and 2 Hour Awareness.
- Administer both initial and refresher training sessions.
- Provide practical instruction for introductory courses.
- Lead training workshops for RRP, Lead Abatement Worker, and Supervisor classes.
- Employ computer skills, especially with PowerPoint, for effective course delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Willingness to travel within New England, including overnight stays.
- Preferred certifications include Asbestos Inspector, Project Monitor, and Designer.
