Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Physician and Healthcare Team: Work closely with our physician and healthcare team to deliver patient care, utilizing the nursing process.
- Provide Professional Nursing Care: Conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, provide patient education, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Coordinate Treatment Plans: Develop and implement discharge and/or transfer plans, ensuring seamless transitions for our patients.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to a systemic, interdisciplinary evaluation of programs and process improvement initiatives, driving desired client-centered outcomes.
- Ensure Patient Safety and Satisfaction: Prioritize patient safety, adhere to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards, and promote a positive patient experience.
- Support Professional Growth and Development: Meet requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency, and support department-based goals that contribute to the success of the organization.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing, Certified in Basic Life Support, and additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
- Experience: RN I (< 1 year), RN II (1-3 years), RN III (3-10 years), RN IV (10+ years), with effective oral and written communication skills.
