Job Summary

The Senior Director of Revenue Accounting will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all aspects of revenue accounting. This position requires expertise in ensuring revenue recognition policies align with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards, developing scalable processes, and driving cross-functional initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process, collaborating closely with Product and Business teams to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue, account reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Oversee financial reporting and disclosures related to revenue, working effectively with external auditors to manage the audit process.
  • Analyze revenue trends, forecasts, and other financial metrics to provide actionable insights supporting key business initiatives.
  • Partner with the FP&A team to provide revenue data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, preferably in financial services or fintech.
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606, and proven experience implementing revenue accounting policies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing accounting teams.
Salary and Benefits

This senior-level position comes with a competitive salary range of $280,000 - $318,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
