Position Overview:

The Operational Excellence Consultant plays a crucial role in the effective execution of Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and projects, ensuring measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identifies opportunities for process enhancement through baseline assessments, compliance audits, and analytical measurements.
  2. Aligns CI initiatives with departmental and corporate strategic objectives.
  3. Collaborates with Process Owners to establish strategic goals and leads improvement projects to achieve measurable results.
  4. Conducts data collection throughout improvement projects to measure current performance, track progress, and facilitate post-initiative audits to ensure sustained enhancements.
  5. Monitors the implementation of solutions to guarantee process control and expected benefits through visible Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  6. Provides insights and recommendations for improvement during internal consulting engagements.
  7. Exhibits advanced skills in influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  8. Maintains thorough documentation of efforts and resource allocation using productivity management tools.
  9. Works collaboratively with project teams on data collection and analysis as needed.
  10. Demonstrates professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Ensures confidentiality of enrollees and providers by adhering to HIPAA regulations and internal compliance policies.
  12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Community Care Plan currently operates on a hybrid work schedule, allowing staff to work from home three days a week while reporting to the office two days a week. The company reserves the right to modify work schedules based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree preferred or an Associate's degree with equivalent experience in process improvement.

· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years in the field.

· Proven experience with DMAIC methodologies and successful process improvement initiatives.

· Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, including areas such as billing and scheduling.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
