Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Bilingual Teller to join our team at Capital Credit Union. As a Bilingual Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, processing transactions, and promoting Credit Union products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members in person, through drive-ups, and by telephone with a high level of enthusiasm and quality of service.
  • Process transactions, requests, and concerns with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Balance cash drawers and daily work with attention to detail.
  • Concentrate on building financial relationships with members using a consultative approach.
  • Discuss special promotions and make member referrals to other departments.
  • Educate members about Home Banking, E-Services, and other products.
  • Promote applicable Credit Union products and services to new and existing members.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties, including mail transactions, night deposits, and filing.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions.
  • Ability to operate an on-line computer terminal and coin processing machine.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with members and employees.
  • Fluency in both written and oral communication in English and Spanish.
Work Environment

The Bilingual Teller position is an office environment with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
