Job Title: Office Administrator
Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Contract Duration: Temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the intake of both electronic and physical correspondence, ensuring proper indexing for efficient routing.
  • Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate Policy Manager.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks related to insurance compliance.
  • Process, allocate, and manage payments for invoices from external vendors.
  • Reconcile and process fees from various Departments of Insurance (DOIs).
  • Engage in communication with DOIs, Bureaus, and Clients as necessary.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including managing incoming mail and processing litigation requests.
  • Address calls that cannot be handled by reception staff, guiding callers to the right resources.
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of the products and markets relevant to the organization.

Additional Duties

  • Provide administrative assistance to management as required.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or administrative role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • Experience in an insurance company or agency is advantageous.
