Job Summary:

As an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager at Southcoast Federal Credit Union, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of our organization. Under the general direction of the President/CEO, you will perform a wide range of coordination tasks to support the credit union's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling platform to ensure comprehensive tracking of regular and project-based tasks, ensuring compliance and on-time completion by management personnel.
• Provide counsel to assigned employees as needed to bring tasks back on track and ensure linear progress.
• Assign and oversee the Continuity Platform to ensure topical compliance is available to each area of the organization, providing overview reporting to the President/CEO on upcoming regulations and ongoing efforts to remain compliant with regulatory agencies.
• Maintain the best possible workflow within all Credit Union areas, making changes and modifications as needed to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure effective internal and external communications regarding all services provided by the Credit Union to members, staff, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with the President/CEO, management staff, and Credit Union Committees to address all aspects of Credit Union operations.
• Lead the credit union in gathering information for auditors and examiners from appropriate staff members when required.
• Implement approved policies governing the operation of the Credit Union, as determined by the Board of Directors, by-laws, statutes, and other relevant regulations.
• Prepare various reports for senior management through the effective utilization of management staff.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience is required. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible and related experience is required, with a strong understanding of basic accounting procedures and a thorough understanding of the Credit Union philosophy. Training and/or experience in various communication techniques and methods is also required.
