As a Logistics Specialist - Delivery Expert with The Sherwin-Williams Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role

This position is responsible for delivering products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading customer orders properly on the truck
  • Ensuring appropriate forms are completed
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely manner
  • Maintaining the store vehicle and alerting the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules

You will be required to perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be at least 21 years of age
  • To be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • To have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • To have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed 'medical examiner' listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
  • To be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • To be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent, experience as a delivery driver, and proficiency in using material handling equipment are desired. Bilingual skills, specifically Spanish, are also an asset.
