Torque Consulting is in search of a meticulous and seasoned Construction Cost Analyst. This role involves the preparation of precise and thorough cost analyses for construction initiatives, playing a crucial role in securing new projects while ensuring financial feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project documentation, including plans and specifications, to create detailed cost analyses.
- Engage with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather vital project information.
- Establish and nurture relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Identify and assess cost elements, including production timelines, materials, and labor costs.
- Prepare and present financial estimates to clients, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Track expenses throughout the construction phase to ensure budget compliance.
- Revise estimates in response to project modifications and changes.
- Support the preparation of project bids and proposals.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Analyst in the construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation practices.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
