Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst

The Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst will play a key role in securing new infrastructure investment deals in the region, monitoring existing investments, and implementing strategic projects internally.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Modeling and Due Diligence: Champion financial modeling and assist in evaluating potential investments, including strategy, structure, and investment costs.
- Investment Committee Support: Coordinate due diligence workstreams with external advisers, including accounting and tax, commercial, legal, technical, and environmental due diligence, as well as reviews of potential partners and external managers.
- Proposal and Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for the investment committee and other internal and external audiences.
- Investment Origination: Contribute to originating new investment ideas, leveraging public analysts, networking, and industry publications.
- Investment Monitoring: Assist in monitoring current investments, including reading quarterly reports, meeting with management, and assisting in investment management reviews.
- Reporting and Analytics: Facilitate the generation of complete and up-to-date reporting on existing investments, including tracking asset performance, risk profiles, and investment costs.
- Industry Knowledge and Networking: Attend conferences to expand knowledge of the market environment and products, as well as network within the industry.
- Investment Process and Portfolio Construction: Fulfill obligations under the Investment Process and Investment Management Process, and contribute to ongoing portfolio construction research.
- Best Practices and Knowledge Sharing: Exchange ideas and facilitate best investment practices with infrastructure colleagues.
- Experience and Qualifications: The Senior Infrastructure Investment Analyst will have a clear understanding of private infrastructure equity as an asset class and/or infrastructure project finance, with associate-level experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions environment and/or asset management industry.
- Skills and Attributes: The successful candidate will have at least years of relevant work experience, a demonstrable affinity with investment management workstreams, a generalist mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to act decisively in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Education and Certifications: A degree in economics or business studies, with an MBA and/or CFA being an asset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
