Torque Consulting is in search of a meticulous and skilled Construction Cost Analyst to enhance their team. The selected candidate will be tasked with generating precise and thorough cost assessments for construction initiatives, playing a crucial role in securing new projects while ensuring financial feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project blueprints, specifications, and relevant documentation to formulate detailed cost assessments.
  • Engage with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to collect vital project information.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Identify and quantify cost elements, including production timelines, materials, and labor costs.
  • Prepare and deliver cost estimates to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track expenses throughout the construction phase to guarantee budget compliance.
  • Revise estimates in response to project alterations and updates.
  • Support the development of project bids and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Cost Analyst in the construction sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation practices.
  • Proficient in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to operate under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential projects is advantageous.
