Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of the House Manager to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Portland. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front of the House, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the Front of the House team, including Doorman, Bellman, Bell Captain, Concierge Agent, Guest Relations Agent, Front Desk Agent, Matrix Coordinator, Club Concierge, Club Attendants, and Learning Coaches.
  • Develop and implement a service and management philosophy that aligns with hotel standards and drives guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all departments are aware of guest needs and information prior to arrival, leading to a unique, memorable, and personal stay.
  • Supervise and manage employees, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and control property occupancy, room revenue, and other key performance indicators.
  • Implement customer recognition and service programs to enhance guest loyalty and retention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related field.
  • Or, 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related field.
