Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team at Azul Hospitality. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk department and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Assist the Front Office Manager in the daily operations of the front desk department, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that guests receive exceptional service.
  • Guest Service: Provide excellent guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management: Direct and train front desk staff, assist with new-hire training, and participate in the hiring process of new staff members.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review daily room availability, check VIP and special request reservations, and ensure that all necessary reports and forms are completed.
  • Communication: Relay all pertinent information to front desk agents, telecommunications, and other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Prior front desk experience required; one to three years experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and customer relations skills, detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills, basic computer skills, and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours in length, lift up to 45 pounds, and push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds. The individual must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
