Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Administrator at LHH Recruitment Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing financial transactions related to our company's accounts payable department. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Responsibilities:- Receive and review incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify invoices, enter data into the accounting system, and prepare payments to vendors through various methods.
- Maintain payment records, reconcile them with the general ledger, and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key vendors, process employee expense reports, and maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, providing necessary reports and documentation, and generate accounts payable reports to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or a related field preferred.
- 3-4+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, excellent organizational and time management skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
