Job Description

Job Title: Debt Recovery Specialist

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join their team. As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for contacting customers with past due balances and working with them to establish payment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to discuss payment plans and negotiate suitable repayment terms
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and update account status in our database
  • Research and apply appropriate collection methods, such as payment reminders, telephone calls, letters, or third-party agencies
  • Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements regarding debt collection practices

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with databases and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to work independently and meet collection goals
  • Understanding of debt collection procedures and consumer protection laws
