Position Summary:
The Finance Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing essential accounting functions, including accounts payable, cash management, general ledger maintenance, and tax compliance. This position will work closely with the Corporate Controller and the finance shared service organization to enhance and implement processes that align with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **General Ledger Management:**
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

2. **Tax Compliance:**
- Manage sales tax audits and ensure accurate reporting of sales tax transactions.
- Oversee the preparation of schedules for quarterly and annual income tax requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with unclaimed property regulations.

3. **Audit Coordination:**
- Facilitate the completion of audits with both internal and external auditors.
- Document and follow up on control findings to ensure compliance and remediation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of accounting processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
