Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will oversee the billing operations to guarantee precise and timely invoicing for our services. This position is crucial for upholding our financial standards and enhancing our commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices through various platforms, ensuring adherence to customer billing specifications.
  • Examine and validate billing information, including customer pricing and sales tax calculations, to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Record payments and reconcile customer accounts on a daily basis, addressing any discrepancies and processing necessary adjustments.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to resolve billing questions and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on accounts receivable and assist in collection efforts in accordance with company policies.
  • Support financial reporting and year-end closing processes to ensure all data is precise and current.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Finance Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Solid understanding of invoicing procedures and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting software.
  • Strong communication abilities with the capacity to engage professionally with customers and team members.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is advantageous.
