Objective: The Financial Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in managing cash receipts, addressing accounts receivable discrepancies, processing customer credit applications, and conducting collection outreach.   • Accurately identify and record cash receipt transactions
  • Document and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies
  • Maintain and update customer credit application files
  • Address and rectify unearned discounts
  • Participate in collection strategy meetings
  • Review and analyze customer orders
  • Maintain detailed analytical spreadsheets
  • Assist with special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Accounting or Business
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or billing is essential. Familiarity with accounting software is required. A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
