Job Description

The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large food manufacturing company in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and Supervise all production activities to ensure maximum operating efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and Implement strategies to improve plant performance, including the development of superintendents and department organization.
  • Communicate Effectively with plant workers, sales, and marketing teams to ensure timely and efficient policy implementation.
  • Prepare and Implement production budgets and ensure all activities are performed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
  • Develop and Maintain department associates and managers to their fullest potential, while maintaining positive engagement.
  • Provide Feedback to leads, associates, and department managers on performance against department and plant goals and objectives.
  • Support the Maintenance and development of SQF 2000 Systems and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise Direct Reports in the performance of their duties and complete performance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Manufacturing Operations or a related field.
  • 10+ Years of Experience in manufacturing operations, including R&D experience from product and process development.
  • Proven Leadership skills and functional knowledge of Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Total Process Control or lean manufacturing principles.
