Job Title: Director, New Business Operations

Job Summary:

The Director, New Business Operations will be responsible for driving business development rhythms across the Space & Airborne Systems Segment. This includes pipeline analysis, discretionary budget management, new business lean six sigma process improvement, CRM administration and data integrity, trade shows, data visualizations, and general new business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and generate executive-level briefings, working directly with VP and directors within SAS Segment, Sectors, and Divisions.
  • Coordinate data calls, working with the BD team to provide timely, accurate, and complete information to support requests and efforts.
  • Manage trade show leads and develop staff.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-segment teams.
  • Work with Finance to facilitate long-range planning cycles.
  • Manage SAS discretionary funds and develop and track new business data metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in Business Development, Capture, or Sales Operations.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to manage several tasks occurring simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of leadership, in particular SAS Segment Executives.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of eight professionals.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Disciplined, self-starting professional who can bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance, and oversight.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
  • Ability to lead and develop relationships with geographically dispersed people.
  • Knowledge of the L3Harris Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
  • Demonstrated ability in data analytics, data visualizations, budget management.
  • Knowledge of or experience with trade show planning and execution.
