The Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess RFP and proposal opportunities, offering strategic recommendations to business development managers. Craft customized client proposals and RFP responses, collaborating with attorneys to identify relevant practices and experiences.
  • Lead follow-up initiatives with professionals to secure business opportunities.
  • Identify new business prospects and devise strategic plans to enhance the visibility of our practices and partners.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to pinpoint topics for thought leadership, develop content, and coordinate with the marketing team for production.
  • Prepare compelling submissions for industry recognitions such as Chambers and Legal 500.
  • Maintain updated experience descriptions and capability statements to support proposals and marketing materials, highlighting our unique value proposition.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and prepare background information on clients and prospects.
  • Analyze business outcomes, tracking wins, losses, and best practices to prepare insightful reports.
  • Research and evaluate opportunities for speaking engagements, sponsorships, and memberships, providing recommendations to management.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires by creating welcome materials and facilitating integration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to support cross-practice projects and initiatives.
  • Develop project plans to ensure timely and budget-compliant implementation of initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies regarding business development and marketing expenditures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including exceptional writing, editing, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client service orientation, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
