Job Summary

The Principal Advisor - Compensation will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs and strategies within the organization. This role will analyze market data, evaluate job positions, and make recommendations for salary structures, incentive plans, and performance-based compensation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, provide guidance on compensation policies, and collaborate with HR and senior management to attract and retain top talent through competitive compensation packages.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Model and build pay structures that support the company's talent acquisition strategy, or that improve the usability/scalability of existing structures to better support changing company strategies.
  2. Play a key role in executing the company's annual compensation cycles.
  3. Create complex compensation modeling templates and methodology.
  4. Perform high-level ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  5. Work collaboratively with HR and business stakeholders on developing and implementing uniform compensation practices, and in the design and implementation of compensation programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.

  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep and broad knowledge of compensation philosophy, strategy, and program development.
  • Strategic thinking, effective analysis of data, and the ability to develop plans, programs, and metrics based on higher-level strategies.
  • High level of expertise and technical competence in compensation and performance management.
  • Ability to present recommendations and/or decisions with persuasive clarity and transparency.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders locally and globally.
