About the Role

Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Program Manager to join their safety-conscious team. This position will support the execution of various client environmental management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interface: Serve as the primary contact and interface with Clean Harbors daily, managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Program Management: Oversee waste activities at generating locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Waste Management: Generate waste labels, ensure containers are properly marked and labeled, and manage shipments of waste off-site.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure overall compliance with laws and regulations, and provide quality service to clients.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare required reports, create profiles for new wastes, and review facility waste receiving reports.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or environmental science preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of hazardous waste experience, familiarity with regulatory state requirements of Small and Large Quantity Generators.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to take and follow direction, and to perform multiple tasks; valid Driver's license.
