  • Process and Post Customer Payments: Accurately record cash, checks, and credit card transactions to ensure timely and accurate posting.
  • Generate and Issue Invoices: Create and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile Payments and Invoices: Verify that payments match invoices and update accounting records accordingly.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure precise records of accounts receivable transactions are maintained.
  • Track and Report Aging of Accounts: Monitor and report on the aging of accounts to management to ensure timely collection.
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable Sub-Ledger: Verify that the accounts receivable sub-ledger is reconciled with the general ledger.
  • Prepare Regular Reports: Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and cash flow projections to inform business decisions.
