Field Account Management Intern

The Field Account Management Intern will operate as a trusted business advisor for McKesson's specialty, clinic class of trade customers. The role involves providing core distribution business needs and partnering with various teams to offer additional business consultation and support. Effective communication through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings will enable the Field Account Management Intern to serve and support customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and maintain McKesson's products, programs, and services to current customers.
  • Communicate with customers to understand unique needs and build strategic plans.
  • Effectively represent McKesson's Onmark GPO contract opportunities.
  • Report competitive information to the Field Account Management team and leadership.
  • Deliver timely pricing and economic information using McKesson's analytics tools.
  • Leverage SAP, Customer Center, AMP, and Salesforce to understand customer business trends.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship, at the Undergraduate or Graduate level.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours by the start of the internship.
  • 18 Years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated - Demonstrates personal commitment and drive to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Must be able to identify individual customers' needs and provide solutions based on those needs.
  • Must be a team player and willing to work in a changing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and a superior ability to identify a problem then solve it.
